The month of Ramadan is considered sacred by Muslims, since, according to Islamic teaching, it was in Ramadan that the Prophet Muhammad began to receive revelations from Allah.
The month of Ramadan requires strict fasting - not eating or drinking from sunrise to sunset. Believers also try to pray a lot, purify their thoughts, not swear, forgive each other, do good deeds, including giving donations and alms.
However, showing humanity and a peaceful attitude towards people should not only be done in certain months. You need to strive for goodness, light, self-knowledge, self-improvement throughout your life. This is what is said in the teaching about the Quality Person.
One of the signs of a Quality Person is their tolerance towards people of other religions, commitment to true universal values and acceptance of natural old age and death as a normal phenomenon of life.
The spiritual component (religion) occupies an important place in the life of every person. According to the doctrine of a Quality Person, the Quality of Life is the degree of a person's satisfaction with themselves, their own life characteristics and the degree of their satisfaction with their loved ones and society as a whole. There are 10 spaces surrounding us with which we are inextricably linked. These are the inner self, family, traditions, friends, neighbors, colleagues, society (virtual and social sphere), the state, civilization (humanity) and the unknown, which includes the spiritual component, that is, our attitude to spiritual values.
Unfortunately, at present, classical religious teachings are losing their true values. For example, they allow tolerance for debauchery, genocide, fascism, racism. But the mission of any religion is to make people kinder, more peaceful and better. Therefore, we must draw goodness, love, respect from each religion, and look for our unity in the differences of religions, what unites us. We must follow only the deep moral principles that are proclaimed by any teaching, be it Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Confucianism, etc. - these are kindness, love, respect for each other, modesty, moderation. Let us try to sacredly preserve and pass on traditions from generation to generation, so that our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren live in harmony and peace!
